Uses of Levobact Infusion
Levobact 500 mg Infusion is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in infections of urinary tract, tonsils, sinus, nose, throat, female genital organ, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

Levobact 500 mg Infusion is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria.

Driving
Levobact 500 mg Infusion may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney
CAUTION
Levobact 500 mg Infusion should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Levobact 500 mg Infusion may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
There is limited information available on the use of Levobact 500 mg Infusion in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
However, stop the medicine and inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine.
What if you miss a dose of Levobact Infusion?
If you miss a dose of Levobact 500 mg Infusion, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

u shouldn't take antibiotics without prescription, for simple cold n cough take syp corex-Dx 1 tsf tid, for cold DO STEAM INHALAION TWICE DAILY, WARM SALINE GARGLES, AVOID EXPOSURE TO COLD,TAKE REST tab levocet 1 tab bd for 5 days, take healthy diet to boost ur immunity comprising of proteins, vitamins particularly vit C, take plenty of fluids if not better in 3 days consult physician hope this helps, antibiotics are reserved only for bacterial infections , most cold like illnesses are viral so no need of antibiotics

Levobact is more active against Gram-positive organisms than ciprofloxacin. Ciprofloxacin is an economical alternative and Levobact is active against many bacteria but can cause damage to your tendons. So, it is advisable that you must talk to a doctor for the right choice of antibiotics for your infections.

Levobact is not indicated for the treatment of tonsillitis. If you think you have tonsillitis, talk to a doctor and start antibiotics only as advised, do not start antibiotics on your own.
