Uses of Leafy Tablet
Leafy 250 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in infections of urinary tract, tonsils, sinus, nose, throat, female genital organ, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Leafy Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Leafy 250 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Avoid Leafy 250 mg Tablet with dairy products such as milk, cheese, curd, butter, paneer and ice cream.

Leafy 250 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria.

Lactation
CAUTION
Leafy 250 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Leafy 250 mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, drowsy or affect your vision. Do not drive until your vision is clear.
Kidney
CAUTION
Leafy 250 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Leafy 250 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
There is limited information available on the use of Leafy 250 mg Tablet in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.
However, stop the medicine and inform your doctor if you develop any signs and symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine.
What if you miss a dose of Leafy Tablet?
If you miss a dose of Leafy 250 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Leafy and prednisone when taken together may increase the risk of tendon rupture (a tendon is a cord that joins your muscle to your bones). If you experience pain and inflammation in your tendons or ligaments, which could lead to rupture, stop taking Leafy immediately and talk to your doctor. Always consult your doctor before taking the two medicines together.

In men with chronic bacterial prostatitis treated for 28 days, oral Leafy 500mg once daily achieved similar clinical and bacteriological response rates to oral ciprofloxacin 500mg twice daily. Leafy is more active against Gram-positive organisms than ciprofloxacin. Ciprofloxacin is an economical alternative and Leafy is active against many bacteria but can cause damage to your tendons. So, it is advisable that you must talk to a doctor for the right choice of antibiotics for your infections.
