How to use Lama Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lama 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Lama 5 mg Tablet is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels which makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

  • You have been prescribed Lama 5 mg Tablet to improve your blood pressure and/or to reduce the number and severity of angina attacks.
  • Lowering blood pressure reduces the chance of future heart attack & stroke.
  • It can cause ankle or foot swelling. Raise your legs while you’re sitting down and talk to your doctor if it does not go away.
  • A sudden drop in your blood pressure may occur, especially when you first start taking Lama 5 mg Tablet. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
  • Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
