How to use KLOX-D CAPSULE

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take Klox-d 250mg capsule empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).

How KLOX-D CAPSULE works

Klox-d 250mg capsule is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria by attacking their cell wall. Specifically, it prevents the synthesis of a substance in the cell wall called peptidoglycan, which provides the cell wall with the strength required for survival of bacteria in human body.

Expert advice for KLOX-D CAPSULE

  • Take dicloxacillin by mouth either 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating.
  • Mild diarrhea is common with the use of dicloxacillin however if stomach pain or cramps, severe diarrhea, or bloody stools occur call your doctor.
  • Birth control pills may not work as well when you are taking dicloxacillin; use a secondary birth control measure. Consult your doctor for the same.
