How to use Ketorol Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ketorol Tablet is to be taken with food.

How Ketorol Tablet works

Ketorol Tablet is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Alcohol
CAUTION
It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Ketorol Tablet. Taking Ketorolac with alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding.
Pregnancy
WEIGH RISKS VS BENEFITS
Ketorol Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the fetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
CAUTION
Ketorol Tablet should be used with caution during lactation. Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Ketorol Tablet may make you feel dizzy, tired or drowsy, you may also get headaches, visual disturbances, vertigo or have difficulty sleeping. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney
CAUTION
Ketorol Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Ketorol Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Ketorol Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Ketorol Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ketorol Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Ketorol Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease. Inform your doctor if you develop any signs or symptoms of jaundice while taking this medicine.
