I have soreness in to my throat and as per prescription I am taking Rebagen thrice a day and some antacid also took Lycored once a day for almost 60 days but still I am feeling itching and sensation in my throat. Who should not get Kenacort Hexa Injection?
An individual should not get Kenacort Hexa Injection if they are allergic to triamcinolone hexacetonide, or any ingredient in the medicine, or if they have certain infections like active tuberculosis, systemic fungal/parasite infections, or herpes simplex in the eye (herpes keratitis), or if they have acute psychosis (severe mental health episode). It must not be given to newborns up to 4 weeks old, or to children under 3 years, as it can be harmful at that age.
Is Kenacort Hexa Injection safe for children and teens?
Kenacort Hexa Injection can be used inside joints for children aged 3 to 12 years with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) under specialist care. Also, children on long-term steroid therapy need growth checks, because steroids can slow growth. It should not be used in babies under 4 weeks or children under 3 years.
When should Kenacort Hexa Injection be delayed or avoided?
Do not give Kenacort Hexa Injection into a joint that is infected or very unstable, and do not use this medicine to treat joint pain caused by an infection like gonococcal or tubercular arthritis.
