Product introduction

Gluconol CT Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly, and do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. You should not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is okay to stop.


Using Gluconol CT Tablet may cause a few common side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, constipation, headache, and heartburn. If you experience such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may be able to suggest ways of preventing or reducing them.


Gluconol CT Tablet may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before using the medicine.

Osteoarthritis is a condition that causes pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints of your hands, knees, hips and spine. Gluconol CT Tablet helps you manage the symptoms of especially knee and hip osteoarthritis and restore mobility. Apart from this, Gluconol CT Tablet might help in joint repair if taken at the start of symptoms. Mild symptoms of osteoarthritis can sometimes be managed by doing light exercises, losing weight and by wearing a suitable footwear.

How Gluconol CT Tablet works

Gluconol CT Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Glucosamine and Chondroitin, which relieves osteoarthritis symptoms. It helps in the formation of cartilage (the soft tissue that cushions the joints) and keeps the joints lubricated for better movement and flexibility. Better cushioning and lubrication between the joints will decrease friction-induced pain.

  • It may take several weeks to see treatment benefits. Keep taking the medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
  • It may increase your blood sugar level. If you are diabetic, monitor your levels regularly.
  • Let your doctor know if your symptoms do not improve even after two to three months of taking the medication.
