Uses of GF Tablet

GF 200 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in infections of urinary tract, tonsils, sinus, nose, throat, female genital organ, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use GF Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. GF 200 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How GF Tablet works

GF 200 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria.

Lactation

GF 200 mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
GF 200 mg Tablet may cause diarrhea or rash in the baby
Driving
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
The most common side effects that can occur when taking GF 200 mg Tablet are usually mild nausea, vomiting, stomach ache, diarrhea, dizziness, and headache.This may affect your ability to drive.
Kidney

GF 200 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of GF 200 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
