How to use Gatiquin Eye Drop

This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

How Gatiquin Eye Drop works

Gatiquin 0.3% w/v eye drop is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by inhibiting the DNA replication.

  • Avoid contact lenses if you have bacterial conjunctivitis or you are applying eye drops. 
  • Inform your doctor about your existing medical conditions, allergies, and all medicines that you use.
  • Do not drive or operate machinery as you may have blurred vision after using gatifloxacin topical.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
  • It should not take if patient is allergic to gatifloxacin or any of its ingredients.
