Gabawin 25 Tablet is a medicine used to relieve pain caused by nerve damage (neuropathic pain). The pain is caused by diabetes, shingles (herpes zoster infection), spinal cord injury, or other conditions. It is also used to treat widespread muscle pain and stiffness in people with fibromyalgia.

Gabawin 25 Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of treatment may depend on the severity of your condition and your response to it. Your doctor may start this medicine at a low dose and gradually increase it. It may take a few weeks for the medicine to work properly. Follow your doctor’s instructions and continue taking it regularly until your doctor advises you to stop. The side effects of this medicine are usually mild and go away on their own. Gabawin 25 Tablet should be taken exactly as per the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
It may cause sleepiness. Do not drive or perform any activity that requires concentration until you know how it affects you.
It may cause blurring or loss of vision. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice any changes in your vision.
Inform your doctor if you develop any unusual changes in mood or behavior, new or worsening depression, or suicidal thoughts or behavior.
Do not stop taking the medication suddenly. This can lead to withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, agitation, insomnia, and, in some cases, seizures.
Avoid alcohol completely while taking this medication. Combining it with alcohol can significantly depress the central nervous system. This leads to excessive sedation, impaired coordination, and respiratory depression (slowed or shallow breathing).
