Forglyn Plus Inhaler
Product introduction
Forglyn Plus Inhaler should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Use it regularly and as long as your doctor has prescribed it to get maximum benefits from the medicine. Don’t stop using the medicine even if you feel better unless your doctor tells you to. If you stop, your breathing problems could get worse.
Forglyn Plus Inhaler is generally safe and effective but some common side effects include dizziness, vomiting, and stuffy nose (nasal congestion). These side effects are usually mild and should gradually improve as your body gets used to this medicine. Let your doctor know if you are bothered by any of this, or if you experience any other side effects which you think are caused by the medicine.
Before using Forglyn Plus Inhaler, let your doctor know if you have any preexisting medical conditions. Let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Additionally, to make sure it is safe for you, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine. You shouldn’t smoke while on treatment with this medicine. Quick tips
- You have been prescribed Forglyn Plus Inhaler for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
- If at any time your breathing gets worse, please contact your doctor or nurse for advice straightaway.
- Gargle with warm water after each inhalation to avoid any fungal infections in your mouth and throat.
- Do not smoke. Smoking causes irritation and damage to the lungs and will make your condition worse.
- If you have diabetes you may need to check your blood glucose more frequently, as Forglyn Plus Inhaler can affect the levels of sugar in your blood. Your doctor will advise you about this.
- If you are overweight, it is advisable to lose weight. This is because being overweight means that you have to work much harder to breathe in to inflate your lungs.
