How to use Fluril Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Fluril 10mg Tablet at a fixed time.

How Fluril Tablet works

Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Fluril 10mg tablet works by preventing loss of tone and dilation of blood vessels, thus preventing the migraine headache.

  • Fluril should be taken at night-time before going to bed.
  • You may have to wait for 8 to 12 weeks to get the full effect.
  • Caution is advised in elderly patients, as it may cause depressive and extrapyramidal symptoms.
  • Do not take alcohol or sleep inducing medicine along with Fluril.
  • Fluril tablet contains lactose monohydrate. You should not take it if you have galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
