Introduction of Fevago Oral Suspension

Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry helps in relieving moderate pain and reducing fever. It effectively alleviates pain and helps to reduce fever. It is used in many conditions such as muscle pain, back pain, and toothache.

Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It may be taken with or without food. Take it with food if stomach upset occurs. Inform your doctor if you are also taking other medications containing paracetamol to avoid overdose. Please consult your doctor in case your pain or fever does not subside. Vomiting, difficulty sleeping and constipation may be seen as side effects in some patients. Inform your doctor immediately if any rash or allergic reaction is observed while taking this medicine. Pregnant and nursing women should use it under medical supervision only. It should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney disease or alcohol abuse. It is not recommended in patients with severe or active liver disease.

Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever.

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry Taking Paracetamol/Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.
Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.
Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, Fevago 120mg Suspension Strawberry contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.

Hello, My baby who is 11 months old having fever in the range of 101 to 103 since last two days. We visited the pediatrician and he suggested for Fevago 1.2 ml every 6 hrs and Ibugesic 3.5 ml every 8 hours. Is it safe to give both these medicine together or any one of these we have to give? Please suggest.

Q. What if my child vomits after taking Fevago?

If your child vomits in less than 30 minutes after having a dose of Fevago tablets or syrup, give him/her the same dose again. If your child vomits more than 30 minutes after a dose of tablets or syrup, you do not need to give him/her another dose, until the next normal dose.

Q. When will my child feel better after taking Fevago?

Usually your child will feel better after about half an hour of taking Fevago.

Q. How often can I give Fevago to my child?

You should only give four doses of Fevago in 24 hours. There should be a gap of at least 4 hours between two doses. Do not give Fevago for more than 3 days to your child without first talking to your doctor.

Q. Can I give Fevago syrup to my child for cold?

Fevago along with relieving fever also helps in controlling problems associated with cold such as headache and earache associated with cold. However, it does help relieve stuffy nose and cough for which doctor’s advice is required.

Q. Does Fevago make babies sleepy?

No, Fevago does not make babies sleepy, contrary to the common belief.

Q. Is Fevago safe for children?

If used as directed by the physician, Fevago is safe for children.

Q. Is Fevago an antibiotic?

No, Fevago is not an antibiotic. It works as a painkiller and as a medicine which brings down high fever.

Q. Can I give my child Fevago and ibuprofen together?

Ibuprofen and Fevago are safe painkillers which can be given to children, though both should not be used together. Instead, if you have given your child Fevago and still he/she is feverish or in pain you could try ibuprofen instead, when the next dose is due.
