Entrodix M Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics: Nalidixic Acid and Metronidazole. Nalidixic Acid kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Metronidazole kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Entrodix M Suspension may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

Entrodix M Suspension may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Entrodix M Suspension should be used with caution during lactation.
Breast feeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body. If a single dose of Entrodix M Suspension is used, it is recommended to hold breastfeeding for 12-24 hours to allow the removal of the drug.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Entrodix M Suspension may make you feel sleepy, dizzy, confused. You may have hallucinations, fits (convulsions) or temporary eyesight problems (such as blurred or double vision) affecting your ability to drive.
Entrodix M Suspension should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Entrodix M Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests is advised if this medicine is to be taken for a long time.
