Product introduction

Daclacure 30mg Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It should be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

It has fewer side effects as compared to other similar medicines, like fatigue, headache, nausea, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and anemia (low red blood cell count). Inform your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.

Daclacure 30mg Tablet works by preventing the HCV virus from multiplying in your body. It helps control the infection and makes the immune system work better. This lowers your chances of getting complications and improves your quality of life. This medicine is always taken in combination with other antiretroviral medicines. It is not a cure and should neither be used to prevent HCV infection. You must take this medicine as prescribed, following the dosage recommended by your doctor. Taking all doses in the right amount at the right times greatly increases the effectiveness of the medicine.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Interaction with drugs

Taking Daclacure with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Severe

Amiodarone (Oral Route)

Do not consume Daclatasvir with Amiodarone. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as breathlessness, fatigue, drowsiness, sedation, faintness, or vomiting, and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may monitor your heart rate closely and adjust the doses as per the observations.
Severe

Amiodarone (Injection Route)

Do not consume Daclatasvir with Amiodarone. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as breathlessness, fatigue, drowsiness, sedation, faintness, or vomiting, and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may monitor your heart rate closely and adjust the doses as per the observations.
Moderate

Rosuvastatin (Oral Route)

Watch out for symptoms such as muscle aches or weakness and consult your doctor if you experience them. Daclatasvir may raise blood levels of Rosuvastatin.
Moderate

Aliskiren (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Aliskiren side effects such as diarrhea, dizziness or joint pain and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Daclatasvir may raise blood levels of Aliskiren.
Moderate

Digoxin (Oral Route)

Your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Digoxin may raise blood levels of the active form of Daclatasvir.
