Interaction with drugs

Taking Cool with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Severe

Raltegravir (Oral Route)

Do not consume Raltegravir with Sodium Citrate. If concurrent use is essential, please consult your doctor. Sodium Citrate may reduce blood levels of Raltegravir.

Moderate

Ofloxacin (Oral Route)

To take Ofloxacin, ensure a gap of at least 6 hours before or after taking Sodium Citrate. Sodium Citrate may reduce the efficacy of Ofloxacin.

Moderate

Chloroquine (Oral Route)

Ensure a gap of at least 4 hours between taking Chloroquine and Sodium Citrate.

Moderate

Ursodeoxycholic Acid (Oral Route)

Ensure a gap of at least 2 hours between taking Ursodeoxycholic Acid and Sodium Citrate.

Moderate

Sparfloxacin (Oral Route)

To take Sparfloxacin, ensure a gap of at least 6 hours before or after taking Sodium Citrate. Sodium Citrate may reduce the efficacy of Sparfloxacin.
