How to use Ciplar Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ciplar 40 mg Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.
Avoid Ciplar 40 mg Tablet with high-fat meals such as olive oil, nuts & seeds (Brazil nuts), dark chocolate, butter and meat.

Ciplar 40 mg Tablet is a beta blocker which lowers blood pressure. It works by slowing heart rate and relaxing blood vessels to improve blood flow to organs.

Driving

Ciplar 40 mg Tablet may cause visual disturbances, hallucinations, fatigue, mental confusion, dizziness or tiredness. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney
SAFE
Ciplar 40 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Ciplar 40 mg Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any kidney disease. Ciplar 40 mg Tablet may be started with a low dose and then increased further. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advisable for dose adjustment.
Liver
