Uses of Baroflox Tablet

Baroflox 200 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is also used in infections of urinary tract, gastrointestinal tract, female genital organ, skin & soft tissues and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Baroflox Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Baroflox 200 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Baroflox Tablet works

Baroflox 200 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

Kidney
CAUTION
Baroflox 200 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Baroflox 200 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver

What if you miss a dose of Baroflox Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Baroflox 200 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
