Azithral 5D Tablet

Azithral 5D Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat various types of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and eye in adults and children. It is also effective in typhoid fever and some sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea.

Azithral 5D Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take it regularly and at a fixed time. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the return or worsening of the infection.

Common side effects seen with Azithral 5D Tablet include diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, and stomach pain. These are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. Consult your doctor if you find these side effects worry you or persist for a longer duration.

Do not use Azithral 5D Tablet if you have a history of cholestatic jaundice or hepatic dysfunction that can be worsened with the use of Azithral 5D Tablet. • Stopping Azithral 5D Tablet early may allow the infection to return and become harder to treat.
• Take Azithral 5D Tablet at the same time each day to maintain consistent antibiotic levels in the body.
• Avoid taking antacids within 2 hours before or after taking Azithral 5D Tablet, as they may affect absorption.
• Take Azithral 5D Tablet with food, or it may cause stomach upset.
• Diarrhea may occur while taking Azithral 5D Tablet; stay hydrated and contact your doctor if it becomes severe.
• Stop taking Azithral 5D Tablet and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing.
• Inform your doctor if you have liver disease or a history of heart rhythm problems before taking Azithral 5D Tablet.
• Report symptoms such as palpitations, fainting, or severe dizziness promptly to your doctor.
• Consult your doctor if symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they worsen.
