Azitab 500mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Bacterial infections and Typhoid fever.
It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Azitab Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It can be taken with or without food, but it is better to take Azitab 500mg Tablet at a fixed time.

Azitab 500mg tablet is an antibiotic. It stops the bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

  • Take Azitab only when prescribed by your doctor
  • Azitab can be taken with or without food
  • Do not take aluminum and magnesium containing antacids with Azitab. It should be taken one hour before or two hours after taking antacids
