Azelac 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic used to treat various types of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and eye in adults and children. It is also effective in typhoid fever and some sexually transmitted diseases like gonorrhea.
Azelac 250mg Tablet is taken orally, preferably one hour before or 2 hours after a meal. It should be used regularly at evenly spaced time intervals as prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the return or worsening of the infection.
Commonly seen side effects seen with this medicine include vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, headache, and diarrhea. These are usually temporary and subside with the completion of treatment. Consult your doctor if you find these side effects worry you or persist for a longer duration.

What if I forget to give Azelac 250mg Tablet to my child?
If you miss a dose of Azelac 250mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Sir/Mam, i have open pores on my nose and when i squeeze it sebum comes out of it, but surprising thing is that my skin is not oily. I have used A-Ret Gel (tretinoin) 0.025, 0.05, 0.1 all percentage, i also use Glycolic acid 12% also. But i have seen little bit effect while using salicylic acid 3% or 6% in ointment form but i want it on Gel or in Lotion form. The main problem is that in Dehradun i unable to find salicylic Acid without steroid. So its Request to you to please prescribe me a salicylic acid product with condition given below: 1. Should contain salicylic Acid approx 3% 2. Should have base of Gel or Lotion ( Not ointment) 3. Should not have any Steroids 4. Should not have alcohol. I'm suffering from acne vulgaris and having acne marks on the face from the acne over the years which are very much visible and look bad. I'm still under therapy and taking acnestar 20 (isotretinoin) from the past three months with faceclin a gel in night .
