Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amlodepin 5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

  • Take it at the same time every day to help you remember to take it.
  • Side effects like dizziness, headache, and flushing, and ankle or foot swelling can be experienced with its use. This may not be with everyone. Drink plenty of fluids and  try cutting down on coffee, tea and alcohol.
  • Any of the side effects other than mentioned above if occur, do consult the treating physician.
