Uses of Ajosh Tablet

Ajosh 250mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye, conjunctivitis, bacterial infections and typhoid fever. It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

How to use Ajosh Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ajosh 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Ajosh Tablet works

Ajosh 250mg Tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

  • Ajosh 250mg Tablet will cure your infection and improve symptoms.
  • It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
  • Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete.
  • Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
  • Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Ajosh 250mg Tablet.
  • Your doctor has prescribed Ajosh 250mg Tablet to treat bacterial infections of the eye.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
  • Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop.
  • Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
  • Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer.
  • Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
