Hyocimax-S Injection 1ml is given as an injection into veins, muscle or skin by health care professionals. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen.

Constipation, dryness in the mouth and headache are some common side effects of this medicine. Most of these usually go away within a short time. If you are bothered by them or they go on for longer, talk to your doctor or nurse. It is advisable to stay hydrated or drink plenty of fluids to overcome mouth dryness and headache. You should not drive if this medicine makes you feel dizzy.

Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have a history of liver or kidney disease or have a history of ulcerative colitis. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

Irritable bowel syndrome is a chronic inflammatory disease of the large intestine (colon) that usually needs long-term management. Hyocimax-S Injection 1ml relaxes the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine) and relieves these symptoms effectively. You may be given other medicines depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear. It may also be prescribed to prevent ulcers from forming by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach.

Concomitant use of Hyocimax-S Injection 1ml with Imodium (loperamide), Bentyl (dicyclomine) and Percocet (acetaminophen + oxycodone) can cause harmful drug interactions and should be avoided. Please inform your doctor about all medication you are currently taking to avoid any harmful drug interaction

Does Hyocimax-S Injection 1ml cause or stop diarrhea?

Treatment with Hyocimax-S Injection 1ml may be helpful in controlling diarrhea associated with bowel spams; however, it can aggravate constipation. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience diarrhea as a side effect of Hyocimax-S Injection 1ml treatment

Does Hyocimax-S Injection 1ml help with gas/ nausea?
