Ultrasound Testis

The Ultrasound Testis test, also called an ultrasound of the testis, is an imaging test that views your testes (also known as testicles). They are the primary reproductive organs of a male which are essential for producing the sperms and the hormone testosterone.

A testicle ultrasound is indicated if you feel a lump in either of the testicles, pain in the testicles, an abnormal enlargement of your testicles, or identify the flow of blood through your testicles and rule out testicular cancer.

This test is safe and no side-effects are seen as it does not involve any radiation. However, some people may experience some pain or discomfort during the test depending upon your condition. Post USG of the testis, you can resume your normal activities without any concern.
