The NCCT Scan KUB ( Kidney, Ureter & Bladder) is the Non-Contrast Computerized Tomography Scan of the kidneys, ureter, and bladder. It uses a rotating beams of  X-rays cthat create multiple cross-sectional images of the upper tract. This forms a 3-dimensional image of the organs to detect and diagnose various disorders. This  scan is done to diagnose various upper urinary tract health concerns. It helps detect stones inside the kidney and bladder. It also helps determine abnormal growth in the kidney and bladder such as tumors, cysts, or masses in the kidneys, ureters, or bladder. NCCT KUB scan is also done to diagnose conditions affecting renal structure and functioning. Additionally, it is also used to assess the efficacy of a kidney transplant.
