Warf 1 Tablet should be taken as advised by the doctor. You may take it with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. This medicine should not be stopped abruptly without consulting the doctor. You should take this medicine regularly to get the most benefit, even if you feel fine.

Common side effects of Warf 1 Tablet include fatal and nonfatal hemorrhage from any tissue or organ. Use of this medicine may increase your risk of bleeding. Let your doctor know immediately if you see a pinpoint rash or blood in your vomit, urine, or stool. In rare cases, Warf 1 Tablet may also cause skin necrosis (death of skin cells) or purple toe syndrome, which should be reported to your doctor right away.

If you are going under any surgery or dental treatment, then you may need to stop this medicine for some time, but only after consulting with your doctor. Before taking it, you must inform the doctor if you are suffering from any kidney or liver disease. Also, let your doctor know if you are pregnant or breastfeeding and about all the other medications that you are taking regularly. Patients with kidney problems should regularly monitor their INR (International Normalized Ratio) levels to ensure safe and effective use of Warf 1 Tablet. Consult your doctor for proper guidance.

How to use Warf Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Warf 1 Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Avoid Warf 1 Tablet with Vitamin K rich food such as spinach, collards, broccoli, spring onions, cucumber and dried basil.

How Warf Tablet works

Warf 1 Tablet is an anticoagulant. It works by preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. Although it does not dissolve the existing blood clots, it prevents them from growing larger and causing blockages in the blood vessels.

Quick tips

Avoid making sudden major changes to your diet during treatment with this medicine.
Do not consume alcohol while taking Warf 1 Tablet, as this may increase its side effects.
If you are going to have surgery or dental treatment, you may be asked to stop taking Warf 1 Tablet temporarily.
Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, as this may increase your chances of having another heart attack or stroke.
For best results, take it at the same time every day.
Your doctor may get regular blood tests done to make sure Warf 1 Tablet is working properly.

Warf 1 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.
