Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD is used in the treatment and prevention of nausea and vomiting.

How to use Vomit Tablet MD

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not handle the tablets with wet hands. Put it in your mouth but do not swallow it. Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Vomit Tablet MD works

Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD is an antiemetic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (serotonin) in the brain that may cause nausea and vomiting during anti-cancer treatment (chemotherapy) or after surgery.

Vomit Tablet MD related warnings

Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor.
Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD is probably safe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD does not usually affect your ability to drive.
Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. Limited information is available in patients taking this medicine for more than one day.
There is limited information available on the use of Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

What if you miss a dose of Vomit Tablet MD?

If you miss a dose of Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

  • Take Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD 30 minutes before your food.
  • If you vomit within 30 minutes after taking the Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD, take the same amount again. If vomiting continues, check with your doctor.
  • If Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD is used for a short duration, for e.g. 6 -10 days, the risk of side-effects is minimal (well-tolerated).
  • You can use oral disintegrating film/strip (medicated strip that dissolves when comes in contact with a wet surface) form of the Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD if you are nauseous to swallow a tablet or capsule.
  • If you are using Vomit 4 mg Tablet MD in the form of oral disintegrating film/strip:
    • Make sure your hands are dry.
    • Immediately place the film/strip on the top of the tongue.
    • The film/strip will dissolve in seconds and you can swallow it with your saliva.
    • You do not need to drink water or other liquids to swallow the film/strip.

Hi, I am varnika's mother. My baby is suffering from fever. She z vomiting as well. Once or twice a very few blood also came with vomit. I consulted the child specialist. He has given medicine. Ondy , lanzol tablet n crocine syrup. Please advise.

Hello please start enterogerminica ampoule orally twice daily for next 5 days. Also syp zinconia 5ml once daily for the next 10 days. Give ORS, coconut water and lemon water to drink.For vomiting give syp emeset 5 ml SOS for vomiting max every 8 hrly. If problem persist consult a nearest pediatrician for clinical evaluation.
