Thalitero Capsule should be taken in the exact dose and duration recommended by the doctor. You should continue to take it as long as your doctor advises for it. The duration of treatment varies according to your need and response to treatment. Before taking Thalitero Capsule inform your doctor if you are suffering from any heart disease. Your doctor may get regular blood tests to check number of blood cells during your treatment. It may reduce white blood cells thereby, increasing the susceptibility to infections.


Common side effects of this medicine include nausea, rash, breathlessness, dizziness, edema (swelling), fatigue, and confusion. Let your doctor know if any of these side effects bothers you or get worse. They may be able to suggest ways to treat or prevent them. You should not drive or operate machinery as Thalitero Capsule may makes you feel sleepy. Women or men who are undergoing treatment should use effective contraception method and avoid pregnancy till doctor recommends it.

Taking Thalitero with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
Severe

Pegylated Interferon Alpha 2A (Injection Route)

Your doctor may monitor your blood cell count frequently and adjust the doses as per the observations.
Moderate

Zoledronic acid (Injection Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor kidney function and other treatment outcome and may modify the treatment protocol as per the observation.
Moderate

Dienogest (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations.

Dehydroepiandrosterone (Micronized) (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, your doctor may monitor your treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations.

Acrivastine (Oral Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms of Thalidomide side effects such as drowsiness, excessive sedation, tiredness, dizziness or slurred speech and consult your doctor if you experience them. It is advised to avoid driving or undertaking other tasks requiring skill and alertness.

Serious side effects of Thalitero Capsule include severe blood clots, nerve damage (peripheral neuropathy), low white blood cell count, liver problems, and serious skin rashes such as Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. Medical help should be sought immediately if any of these occur.
Individuals should not take Thalitero Capsule if they are pregnant, breastfeeding, or unable to follow the birth control requirements. People allergic to Thalitero Capsule or who have had serious blood clots or nerve damage should consult a doctor before use.
Patients should be regularly monitored for numbness, tingling, or pain in the hands and feet during Thalitero Capsule treatment. If signs of nerve damage appear, the doctor may reduce the dose or stop the medicine to prevent permanent nerve problems.
