Tepmetko 225mg Tablet helps by slowing or stopping the cancer from growing. Tepmetko 225mg Tablet should be taken with food and swallowed as a whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. The dose and duration of the treatment will depend on your condition and how well you respond to it. However, take it for as long as your doctor has prescribed. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless the doctor tells you to.
The most common side effects of Tepmetko 225mg Tablet include peripheral edema, nausea, hypoalbuminemia, diarrhea, and an increase in creatinine. If any of these side effects bother you, let your doctor know. They may also advise regular monitoring of liver function while you are taking this medicine.
Many other medicines can affect or be affected by this medicine, so let your doctor know about all the other medicines that you are using. Tepmetko 225mg Tablet is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Hence, it is important for both males and females of reproductive age to use effective contraception to avoid pregnancy during the treatment with this medicine.

How to use Tepmetko Tablet

How Tepmetko Tablet works
Tepmetko 225mg Tablet works by blocking the action of certain abnormal proteins that signal cancer cells to multiply. This helps slow or stop the spread of cancer cells.
Quick tips
- Women of childbearing potential should use effective contraception during the treatment and for at least 1 week after the last dose of Tepmetko 225mg Tablet.
- To reduce nausea, take anti-nausea medications as prescribed by your doctor and eat small, frequent meals.
- Swelling of the hands or feet is a common side effect of Tepmetko 225mg Tablet. Your doctor may suggest leg elevation or dietary salt modification to ease the symptoms of swelling.
- Drink at least 7-8 large glasses of water every 24 hours, unless you are instructed otherwise.
- Tepmetko 225mg Tablet is used for the treatment of thyroid cancer.
- Take it with or without food, preferably at the same time each day.
- Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
- Use a reliable contraceptive method to prevent pregnancy while you are taking this medicine and for a month after you stop taking it.
- Monitor your blood pressure regularly while taking this medication. Inform your doctor if you notice symptoms of very high blood pressure such as severe headache, confusion, problems with your eyesight, nausea or vomiting.
- It may cause serious bleeding problem. Inform your doctor if you get headaches, stomach pain or if you notice blood in your urine or stools.
- Do not take this medicine if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Tepmetko 225mg Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from the body.

Driving
UNSAFE
Tepmetko 225mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision, or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney
CAUTION
Tepmetko 225mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Liver
CAUTION
Tepmetko 225mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Taking Tepmetko with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Do not consume Tepotinib with Everolimus. If concurrent use is essential, please consult your doctor. Tepotinib may raise blood levels of Everolimus.
