How to use Temsi AM Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Temsi AM 40mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How Temsi AM Tablet works

Temsi AM 40mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Telmisartan and Amlodipine which lower blood pressure effectively. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.

Kidney

Temsi AM 40mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Temsi AM 40mg Tablet is recommended.
Liver
CAUTION
Temsi AM 40mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Temsi AM 40mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Temsi AM 40mg Tablet is started at a lower dose in patients with liver disease and further increased slowly with careful monitoring.
