How Telma-Dapa Tablet works

Telma-Dapa Tablet is a combination of dapagliflozin and telmisartan. Dapagliflozin blocks SGLT2 (sodium-glucose co-transporter 2) in the kidneys, which increases the removal of glucose and sodium through urine and helps reduce pressure inside the kidney. Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II receptors (AT1 receptors), helping relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure, which reduces strain on the kidneys. Together, they help protect kidney function by lowering internal kidney pressure, reducing damage, and slowing the progression of chronic kidney disease.
