Staphonex 500mg Capsule is a penicillin-type of antibiotic, which mainly fights and stops the growth of the gram-positive type of bacteria. It is best taken on an empty stomach. This will make the medicine more effective. Take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to penicillin or penicillin-type of medicine.

Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine (Injection Route)

Flucloxacillin Sodium may reduce the efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine. Flucloxacillin Sodium may reduce the efficacy of Purified Vi Polysaccharide Typhoid Vaccine.

Severe

Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) (Oral Route)

Do not consume Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) two weeks before and at least 10 days after consuming Flucloxacillin Sodium. Please consult your doctor. Flucloxacillin Sodium may reduce the efficacy of Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).

Amikacin (Injection Route)

Talk to your doctor if you notice any unusual symptoms.

Pemetrexed (Injection Route)

Your doctor may monitor your creatinine clearance along with your overall treatment and adjust the doses as per the observations. Flucloxacillin Sodium may slow down the removal of Pemetrexed from the body.
