It should be used in the dose and duration directed by your doctor. Do not stop using it suddenly without talking to your doctor, as it may lead to worsening of your condition.
Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before and after inserting this medicine. You should not get it in the eyes, mouth, or nose. Rinse with cold water if you accidentally get it in these areas.

Taking SR Fil with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects
To take Amitriptyline, ensure a gap of at least 2 hours before or after taking Sucralfate.
Sucralfate may decrease the absorption of Amitriptyline.
Ensure a gap of at least 2 hours between taking Furosemide and Sucralfate.
Sucralfate may reduce blood levels and efficacy of Furosemide.
Ensure a gap of at least 2 hours between taking Furosemide and Sucralfate.
Sucralfate may reduce blood levels and efficacy of Furosemide.
Ensure a gap of at least 2 hours between taking Sulpiride and Sucralfate.
Sucralfate may decrease the absorption of Sulpiride.
