How to use Solprate Syrup

How Solprate Syrup works

Solprate Syrup is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Solprate Syrup related warnings

Solprate Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Solprate Syrup is unsafe to use during pregnancy.
There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Solprate Syrup is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Monitor the baby for unusual bruising or bleeding, jaundice and other signs of liver damage.
Solprate Syrup may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Solprate Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Solprate Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Solprate Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Solprate Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Solprate Syrup is not recommended in patients with the severe liver disease.

What if you miss a dose of Solprate Syrup?

If you miss a dose of Solprate Syrup, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
