How to use Sermion Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. It is better to take Sermion 30mg Tablet empty stomach (1 hour before food or 2 hours after food).

How Sermion Tablet works

Migraine headaches are thought to result from the dilatation of blood vessels in the head. Sermion 30mg tablet works by constricting (narrowing) these blood vessels, thereby relieving the migraine headaches.

  • Nicergoline tablets should be preferably taken between meals to improve its absorption (the process by which the drug enters blood circulation after oral ingestion).
  • Do contact your doctor before taking nicergoline if you have porphyria (a rare blood pigment disorder that affects skin and other organs) or high blood pressure and are receiving medication to lower it (antihypertensive drugs).
