Q. What are the serious side effects of Razona 500 Tablet?
Razona 500 Tablet may cause changes in the electrical activity of the heart which is known as QT prolongation. Your doctor may get regular tests done to check the electrical activity of your heart. Tell your doctor right away if you feel faint, lightheaded or if your heart starts beating irregularly or fast, as these may be symptoms of QT prolongation. Razona 500 Tablet may also cause kidney failure in patients who already have kidney problems. Therefore, your doctor may need to do tests to check how your kidneys are working.
Q. I started taking Razona 500 Tablet about a week ago. Now I have noticed that my urine has become very dark though I am taking plenty of fluids. Is there anything to worry about?
Urine discoloration could be because of Razona 500 Tablet. You need not worry if you do not have any other symptoms. However, if it still bothers you, you can talk to your doctor who will advise you further.
Q. In case I accidentally take an excess of Razona 500 Tablet, what will happen?
Excess of Razona 500 Tablet can cause nausea, vomiting, lightheadedness, double vision, tiredness, severe tremor, confusion, hallucinations, difficulty in speaking and walking and you can even faint. If you have taken an excess of Razona 500 Tablet by mistake, call your doctor right away or seek emergency medical care in a nearby hospital.
Q. Is it safe to take Razona 500 Tablet if I am already taking metoprolol?
Yes, it is safe to take the Razona 500 Tablet and Metoprolol together. Razona 500 Tablet has minimal effect on blood pressure in patients with angina.
Q. I am a diabetic and am taking metformin. My doctor has prescribed Razona 500 Tablet, is it safe to take both together?
If you are taking metformin along with Razona 500 Tablet, you have to be careful since Razona 500 Tablet may increase the levels of metformin in the body which can lead to metformin toxicity. Talk to your doctor who will modify the dose of metformin.
Q. I have been taking simvastatin to keep my cholesterol levels in check. Can I take Razona 500 Tablet with it?
It is recommended not to take simvastatin and Razona 500 Tablet together because it may cause simvastatin toxicity which may lead to symptoms like muscle weakness and soreness, fatigue, decreased urination, etc. Let your doctor know that you are already taking simvastatin. If it is still necessary to take, then take it exactly as advised by the doctor.
