Q ON 25mg Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of vitiligo and psoriasis. It reduces the overproduction of skin cells and helps to re-pigment the discolored, white patches.
Q ON 25mg Tablet is taken after meals in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Taking with food helps to increase absorption of the medication as well as decrease nausea. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
The most common side effects of Q ON 25mg Tablet are nausea, itching, and redness of the skin. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects.
Taking this medicine makes the skin more sensitive to the sun. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. Try to avoid exposure of your skin and lips to sunlight for eight hours after treatment. It is not recommended for children under the age of 14 years. Avoid eating certain foods like limes, figs, parsley, parsnips, mustard, carrots, and celery, as they may increase skin's sensitivity to light.
Psoriasis is a condition where the skin cells in the body grow too quickly and form scales and dry patches. They can grow anywhere, but most appear on the scalp, elbows, knees, and lower back. Q ON 25mg Tablet reduces the scaly, itchy patches along with other symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, or irritation which may develop on the different parts of the body. Use it for as long as it is prescribed to get the most benefit. It may take several months to become fully effective. You should avoid drinking alcohol while having this treatment and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
In Vitiligo
Vitiligo is a condition in which the skin loses its natural color in patches. Q ON 25mg Tablet effectively blocks that process in the skin that leads to discoloration. It also reduces any redness, rash, pain, or itchiness that may be caused by this condition. This improves your self-esteem and confidence as your appearance changes. You should always take it as prescribed to get the full benefits.
