How to use Prostaver Injection
How Prostaver Injection works
Quick tips
- Prostaver 500mcg Injection is usually given in a hospital setting, so ensure your baby is closely monitored for breathing, heart rate, and oxygen levels during treatment.
- Let the medical team know if your baby has any signs of apnea (pauses in breathing), as this is a possible side effect and may need support.
- Your doctor may adjust the dose based on your baby’s weight and response. Regular monitoring helps avoid complications like flushing or low blood pressure.
- Keep your baby warm and stable during treatment, as Prostaver 500mcg Injection can cause temporary changes in body temperature.
- Be sure to follow up with the doctor for imaging tests (like echocardiography) to track how the ductus arteriosus is responding to the medicine.
