Probogut-S Sachet also prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in the stomach and intestine and improve the functioning of the digestive system. It is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. You may take this medicine along with oral rehydration solution (ORS) as it will help to provide adequate fluid and electrolyte replacement. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should take this medicine until your doctor tells you to stop. No. Probogut-S Sachet is not recommended for immunocompromised patients or those with central lines (catheters), because it can enter the bloodstream and cause infections.
What should I do if my diarrhea does not improve with Probogut-S Sachet?
If your diarrhea continues for more than two days while taking Probogut-S Sachet, consult your doctor. You may need further medical evaluation or additional treatment, especially if you are losing fluids quickly.
Does Probogut-S Sachet replace rehydration therapy?
No. Probogut-S Sachet does not replace rehydration. If you are losing a lot of fluids due to diarrhea, you must drink plenty of water and electrolyte solutions to stay hydrated, as advised by your doctor.
Can Probogut-S Sachet cause allergic reactions?
Yes. Allergic reactions may happen in some people after taking Probogut-S Sachet. Symptoms include skin rash, itching, hives, swelling, or difficulty breathing. Stop taking it and seek medical help immediately if these occur.
Why should Probogut-S Sachet not be mixed with very hot or cold drinks?
