Uses of Prashchamp Tablet

PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET is used in the treatment of severe allergic reactions, allergic conditions, asthma, rheumatic disorder, skin disorders, eye disorders and nephrotic syndrome.

How to use Prashchamp Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET is to be taken with food.
Avoid PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET with dietary sodium.

How Prashchamp Tablet works

PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET is a steroid which works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause inflammation (redness and swelling) and allergies.

Interaction with alcohol is unknown. Please consult your doctor.
PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Do not drive unless you are feeling well.
Undesirable effects, such as dizziness, vertigo, visual disturbances and fatigue are possible after treatment with PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET. This may affect your driving ability.
PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
There is limited information available on the use of PRASHCHAMP 4MG TABLET in patients with liver disease. Please consult your doctor.

For kids, Montair LC is available as Montair LC KID tablet and Montair LC KID syrup. It contains Montelukast (4mg) and Levocetrizine (2.5mg). Montelukast is used to prevent and treat asthma, seasonal and year round allergies (hay fever), and prevent exercise-induced asthma. Levocetirizine is used to treat symptoms of allergic conditions such as allergic fever (hay fever), year-round allergies like dust or pet allergies and chronic nettle rash. It is best to take the drug at bedtime as it can make you drowsy.
