Uses of Pefcef Tablet DT
Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used for short-term treatment of bacterial infections of urinary tract, skin and soft-tissue, ear, bone, blood, abdomen, genital and lungs (pneumonia). It is also used to prevent infections after surgery.

How to use Pefcef Tablet DT
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT is to be taken with food.

Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering which is needed for them to survive.

Avoid prolonged use of Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.
Driving
Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Kidney
Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
SAFE
Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT is recommended.
What if you miss a dose of Pefcef Tablet DT?
If you miss a dose of Pefcef 100 mg Tablet DT, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
