Product introduction

Oxyteracin Injection may also be used to treat many sexually transmitted diseases. It helps to improve your symptoms and cure the underlying infection. It is given as a drip (intravenous infusion) into a vein under the supervision of a doctor or a nurse. You should get the injection regularly at evenly spaced intervals for maximum benefits. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening.

Taking Oxyteracin with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Do not consume Tretinoin with Oxytetracycline.

Isotretinoin (Oral Route)

Do not consume Isotretinoin with Oxytetracycline.

Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) (Oral Route)

Do not consume Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated) two weeks before and at least 10 days after consuming Oxytetracycline. Please consult your doctor. Oxytetracycline may reduce the efficacy of Cholera Vaccine (Inactivated).

Acitretin (Oral Route)

Do not consume Acitretin with Oxytetracycline.

Phenindione (Oral Route)
