How Olsa-OZ Plus Tablet works

Olsa-OZ Plus Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Lactobacillus, Ofloxacin, Ornidazole and Saccharomyces boulardii. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic which kills the bacteria and other microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively. Lactobacillus and Saccharomyces boulardii are live microorganisms which restore the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset with antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

You have been prescribed Olsa-OZ Plus Tablet for the treatment of diarrhea and dysentery.
Take it at least 2 hours after taking other medicines, as it may interfere with the absorption of other medicines.
Diarrhea can cause water loss and electrolyte imbalance. Drink plenty of fluids especially ORS (oral rehydration solution) to help keep you hydrated.
Consult your doctor if your symptoms last for more than 48 hours.
