Lactobacillus is a live micro-organism, when given in adequate amount, provides health benefits. It restores the balance of good bacteria (microorganisms) in the intestine that may get upset with the use of antibiotics or due to intestinal infections.

Expert advice for Tinidazole

  • Always take the complete course of treatment, as advised by your doctor even if you feel better.
  • It may cause side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and a metallic taste in the mouth.
  • If you are using Tinidazole in a high dose or for a prolonged time, there is a risk of more side effects, like nerve damage.
  • You should not drink alcohol during or for 48 hours after treatment. You may develop nausea, vomiting, flushing and headache if you take it together.
  • Inform your doctor if you have a liver disease. Your dose may need to be adjusted in severe liver disease.

  • Always take the complete course of treatment, as advised by your doctor even if you feel better.
  • Never take an antibiotic for a viral infection like a cold or the flu.
  • Can lead to nausea and diarrhoea frequently. If this becomes severe or persistent or you notice that your stool contains blood or mucus you should stop taking Norfloxacin immediately and consult your doctor. You should not take medicines to stop or slow diarrhoea.
  • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
  • Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with epilepsy, kidney or heart diseases.

  • Avoid taking Lactobacillus along with steroids (medications that weaken the immune system) as they might increase the chances of getting sick.
