No, taking a higher than the recommended dose of Nortex TZ Tablet can increase the risks of side effects. If you are experiencing increased severity of your symptoms which are not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.
Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Nortex TZ Tablet?
The use of Nortex TZ Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to norfloxacin, tinidazole or any other excipient. It should also be preferably avoided in patients with history of any inflammation of the tendons (tendinitis) or tendon rupture seen with the use of norfloxacin or any other medicine which belongs to the same group (quinolone group) of antimicrobial agents and in patients with some neurological disorders.
Can Nortex TZ Tablet increase the risk of tendon rupture?
Yes, Nortex TZ Tablet contains Norfloxacin, which is known to increase the risk of tendon rupture, commonly in the achilles tendon. Tendon problems can happen in people of all ages who take Nortex TZ Tablet. Inform your health care provider if you hear or feel a snap or pop, have severe pain, rapid or immediate bruising after an accident, and are unable to use the affected arm or leg, you may have a tendon rupture.
What if I don't get better after using Nortex TZ Tablet?
Inform your doctor if you don't feel better after finishing the full course of treatment. Also, inform him if your symptoms are getting worse while using this medicine.
Can I stop taking Nortex TZ Tablet when I feel better?
No, do not stop taking Nortex TZ Tablet and complete the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured.
What if I miss my dose?
