When taken by pregnant women, Folic acid prevents miscarriage, preterm labor, and neural tube defects in infants. Levo-carnitine L-tartrate helps turn the fats present in ingested food into energy. It decreases insulin resistance and oxidative stress and improves immune function. Methylcobalamin corrects vitamin B12 deficiency thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems.
