However, inform your doctor if you have an underlying kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function tests may be required.

Micalan 100mg Injection should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Interaction with drugs

Taking Micalan with any of the following medicines can modify the effect of either of them and cause some undesirable side effects

Ciclosporin (Oral Route)

Your doctor may monitor your treatment. Micafungin may increase the rate of release of Ciclosporin in the blood.

Your doctor may monitor your treatment. Micafungin may increase the rate of release of Ciclosporin in the blood.

Amphotericin B (Injection Route)

Do not consume Micafungin with Amphotericin B. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, nausea, vomiting or muscle cramps and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Micafungin may raise blood levels of Amphotericin B.

Do not consume Micafungin with Amphotericin B. If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as fever, chills, headache, nausea, vomiting or muscle cramps and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations. Micafungin may raise blood levels of Amphotericin B.

Bemiparin (Injection Route)

If concurrent use is essential, watch out for symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, loss of appetite, dark urine or jaundice and consult your doctor if you experience them. They may adjust the doses as per the observations.
