Maxin 5mg Tablet is taken by mouth with food. It is important to take it in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. In case you have missed any dose than it is better to take it as soon as you remember it. But, never double your dose. You should finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
It may cause sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that require concentration. Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing) may also occur as a side effect, so rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down.
