Flurbiprofen(0.3% w/v)


Lufen eye drops is used to relieve pain, tenderness, swelling, and stiffness causes by various diseases of joints and  bones. It is also effective in mild to moderate painful conditions such as dental pain, post-operative pain, pain during menses (dysmenorrhea) and migraine headaches. 
Flurbifrofen is often used in pre and post-operative eye treatments to relieve pain and inflammation (after laser surgery or any other eye surgery).

How it works

Lufen eye drops belongs to a class of medicine called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Lufen eye drops exerts a lasting analgesic and an anti-inflammatory effect as it reduces the production of pain stimulating chemicals (prostaglandins) by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX).

Flurbiprofen may cause dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue and visual disturbances. 
Do not drive or operate machinery. 
Get emergency medical help, if you have chest pain, weakness, shortness of breath, slurred speech, or problems with vision or balance.
Inform your doctor and be cautious, if you are suffering from, or have a previous history of bronchial asthma or other breathing difficulties You have a history of heart failure or hypertension (high blood pressure).
